Daily 18g — Support
Help, troubleshooting, and how to reach us.
Contact
The fastest way to reach us is by email:
If you're already signed in to the app, the gold-pulse feedback button at the bottom-right of every screen sends a message straight to the developer — usually answered within 24 hours.
Common questions
- I forgot my password.
- On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?”, enter your email, and follow the link we send. Reset links expire after 1 hour.
- How do I pair with my partner?
- Go to Settings → Partners and send them a partnership invite by email. Once they accept, your bean shelf, café list, and coffee logs become shared per the categories you each opt into.
- My latte-art rating seems off.
- AI ratings are best-effort guidance from GPT-4o Vision. They're directional, not definitive — and they don't affect anyone else's view of your pours. If a rating looks wildly off, snap a clearer, well-lit photo and try again.
- How do I add a bean that isn't in the catalog?
- Open the Barista tab, tap Edit on your shelf, then Snap a bag — the camera + AI will fill in the bean's name, roaster, country, roast level, and flavor notes from your photo. You can edit any field before saving.
- Can I delete my account and data?
- Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and removes your logs, beans, photos, partnerships, and account record. There is no recovery window — please export anything you want to keep first.
- Why aren't my notifications arriving?
- On iOS, make sure notifications are enabled for Daily 18g in System Settings → Notifications, and that you tapped “Enable” on the in-app notifications banner. Low-stock and freshness alerts fire daily at 9 AM in your timezone.
- A photo won't upload.
- Large iPhone photos can stall on weak Wi-Fi. The app resizes uploads to under 2 MB, but a flaky network can still timeout. Try again on a stronger connection, or close and reopen the app to restart the upload session.
Reporting a bug
When emailing about a bug, please include: what you were doing, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and your iPhone model + iOS version if you can find them (Settings → General → About). A screenshot helps a lot.
